An Ordinance to Amend Appendix C of the Code of the County of Washington, Virginia, To Update Financial Eligibility Criteria for Discounted Tax Rates for Qualifying Elderly and Handicapped Persons. Adoption of the ordinance would amend maximum income limits for qualification of elderly and handicapped persons of Washington County, Virginia, for partial exemption from taxation of real estate and manufactured homes.
The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at the County Administration Offices located at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia. A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinances are available for public inspection in the office of the Washington County Administrator and, also, on the County’s website at www.washcova.com.
