WASHINGTON COUNTY, VIRGINIA PUBLIC HEARING
The Washington County, Virginia, Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for receipt of citizen comments on the Bristol Tennessee Essential Services (BTES) proposed cable television franchise agreement. The Board will hold the hearing at its regular meeting on April 27, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be held, in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia 24210.
If the Board approves the franchise agreement, BTES will be permitted to provide cable television service in the same geographic region of the County in which it provides electricity. The full text of the proposed franchise agreement may be found on the County website (www.washcova.com) and at the Washington County Administrative Division Offices at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia.
